Introduction
The world is in a state of crisis. With the climate changing rapidly and natural resources depleting at an alarming rate, we have no choice but to change our ways. Fortunately, there are many companies who understand this need and are leading the way towards sustainability by using sustainable materials and processes. One such company is Apple.
Soil depletion
Soil erosion is a huge problem—and it's getting worse. In the U.S., 25 billion tons of soil are lost every year to erosion, which occurs when wind or water pick up loose dirt and carry it away. This happens because we've been farming, mining and logging our land so intensively that we've stripped it down to its bare bones. Soil depletion causes plants and animals to die off; floods, droughts and deserts; hunger; war; even climate change.
But there's good news: reversing land degradation can be done quickly. In fact, if you're willing to put in some sweat equity in exchange for your meal (or other services), you could have an impact on the world in just a few years' time!
Air quality
Air quality is a big deal. The air we breathe every day can be polluted by many different things, including cars, factories and power plants. Air pollution can cause health problems like asthma and lung cancer. It can also lead to acid rain or smog (a mixture of smoke and fog).
If you want to help the environment and keep your local community healthy for everyone who lives there, consider supporting companies that use sustainable resources instead of relying on fossil fuels for energy production. These businesses use renewable resources like solar panels instead of burning coal or oil to generate electricity—and they're often located in areas where that's more convenient for their customers' homes too!
Deforestation
Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests. A lot of the world's forests are being cut down.
Deforestation destroys the habitat of many animals, plants and insects.
It causes climate change because when trees are cut down they release carbon dioxide into the air which makes global warming worse.
It also causes soil erosion because trees hold the soil together in places where there isn't much rain or wind to keep it together on its own
Water pollution
Water pollution is a serious problem. It can be caused by many things, including chemicals and waste products that are disposed of improperly. Water pollution can also have an impact on marine life and the environment as a whole. If you want to help the environment by supporting companies that use sustainable resources, try looking into whether or not they are using sustainable water purification options in their products or processes.
The more people support companies that use sustainable resources, the more likely it will become a priority for all companies, consequently reducing the damage we do to the environment.
To recap, we’ve learned that there are a lot of ways to be more environmentally friendly when it comes to your everyday life, but also that we need to support companies that use sustainable resources. This is because if enough people do this and make it a priority for all companies, then we can reduce the damage that we do to our environment. As an example, if you were going shopping for clothes and saw two pairs of pants on sale: one pair made from recycled materials with no chemicals or pesticides used in their production; and one pair made from new materials with chemical dyes and pesticides added during production—which would you buy? Of course, the former! You’re helping reduce soil depletion while simultaneously reducing air quality degradation by choosing clothing produced using less energy than conventional cotton cultivation (and without any toxic chemicals). Plus it saves land space by recycling materials that would otherwise be thrown away! If everybody did this more often instead of buying new stuff at full price every time they needed something new for themselves or their family members then think about how much better off our planet would be!
Conclusion
The key to saving our environment is two-fold. First, we need to be aware of the damage we do, and second, we need to support companies that are committed to using sustainable resources. These companies are a great place to start because they’re already working towards making changes in their own operations and communities that will benefit us all. By supporting these companies with our purchases and sharing positive stories about them on social media channels like Facebook or Twitter (or even this blog!), consumers can help create positive change for generations yet unborn.
