Find something you are good at
The first step in finding something to do for a career is to find something that you enjoy doing. This might mean trying things out until you find the right one for you. But, don't worry if it takes a while as you can still learn new skills and develop over time.
This can take a little trial and error, and that is OK, because you are only trying to find something you like doing, not become a world champion in the first few months.
One of the most important things to do is to find something you are good at. You don't have to be great at it, but if you enjoy what you're doing, then it will be worth your time and effort. If we find something that we like doing, then our interest in that activity will increase as well.
If you have not found anything yet and are worried about trying new things, fear not! As long as you find something that interests or excites us, then we will make sure it becomes a part of our lives so that we can start enjoying ourselves right away!
The start of your journey probably won't be glory filled; this will come later if you stick at it.
You may not be the best at something right away, but that’s okay. The key is not to give up on what you are trying to do. If you find yourself struggling with a particular task, don’t worry about it. Take a break from it and come back to it later when you feel more confident or rested.
Your first action should be to look for activities that you enjoy, (don't worry about saving the world just now).
Your first action should be to look for activities that you enjoy, (don't worry about saving the world just now). If you can find a few things that you like doing and do them regularly, then you'll be able to expand your repertoire later on.
Here are some ideas:
cooking
dancing
gardening
painting
The list goes on! There are many hobbies out there where no one is telling you how good or bad your work is. You could easily start a hobby with just painting designs onto tiles or even making hats out of tin foil if that's what floats your boat!
You need to build up a strong base from where you can start to expand your knowledge.
You need to build up a strong base from where you can start to expand your knowledge. If you are going to learn something, then it is better that it be something that interests you and in which you have some level of competence. In other words, if there is an opportunity for learning available but it does not fit into any of these criteria then don't bother with it!
Once you have found something that fits these criteria, then great! Now all you have to do is get started!
Conclusion
Now you are ready to start creating the life of your dreams. Remember that it's not about being perfect or having everything figured out; it's about making a start, taking action, and moving forward from there.
